Summer VBS is a fun and engaging program for kids, PreK-5th grade. The theme for VBS '26 is "Rainforest Falls", which is all about exploring the Nature of God.

The big kids can join in on the fun too! We do prefer that our volunteers be at least 11 years old. Volunteers 18 and over will be required to go through a background check.

No, Summer Jam is completely free!

Summer VBS is geared towards kids PreK-5th grade. We will be accepting 4 year olds again in Summer 2025!

We receive many snack donations specifically for this event. If your child is attending Burlington or Union, they will receive a snack each day. If your child is attending Campbell County, a light dinner will be provided each day.

However, if your child has a food allergy, we ask that you please provide a snack for them each day.

Absolutely! We do prefer that our volunteers be at least 11 years old. Volunteers 18 and older are required to go through a background check.

First Church has a dedicated Safety Team that will be on each campus for the duration of the program to help ensure that our children are cared for well.
