Union Construction Update: November 2025

Published November 24, 2025
As we approach Thanksgiving, we’re pausing to give thanks for all that God is doing in and through First Church — especially at our Union Campus. We have several exciting updates to share about the progress of our new building.

  • Construction Progress: Work continues to move forward with excavation and site preparation. The building pad has been graded and is nearly ready for concrete. We’re hopeful to have concrete poured before any more winter weather sets in.

  • Financing: We’ve been approved for a construction loan through Heritage Bank and officially closed on November 14. Heritage has been a faithful partner to First Church over the years, and we’re so grateful to continue working with them on this next step.

  • Sale of Current Property: We’ve also signed a purchase contract for both the current Union Campus building and the outlot for $3.35 million! The contract allows us to remain in the building through February 2027. We’re deeply thankful for how God has provided and made a way for us to continue moving forward.

Each of these milestones is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and the generosity of His people. Thank you for praying, giving, and believing with us as we take these next steps together.
